so here's a dumb question....
i have a flock of 22 older birds (red sex links, easter eggers, jersey giant, barred plymouth rocks, frizzled cochin, buff orp and 2 mutts) and i dont think ANY have molted......all the girls are over a year old now as are the 4 boys (last ones listed).
the girls all have feathers miising from their backs from the boys doing their thing. i have 2 that possilby look like hard molts but not all over them (cochin roo is just the front of his neck and the jersey giant hen is just her back).
havent noticed any feathers or any decrease in laying.....could they just be way to happy to care?
