Using it right now! My first hatch with it. Due 8/14. It has been wonderful. But that's just me... I like that it keeps everything so well controlled for me.
So far, even with HUGE temp and humidity changes in the room due to weather, the bator has maintained very well.
The eggs in it now are shipped so if the hatch rate is not great it will be hard to tell if it's the bator or the shipping... I'd like to put some local eggs in it to really see what I get.
Do you have one? or just thinking about getting one?
I saw that you are trying to decide between that and the brinsea... I'm using the Brinsea Eco 20 w/turner right now... Nothing fancy - no digital controls or read-outs, but it has been extremely reliable. I haven't had to do anything accept add water once. It was set up from factory, and keeps the temp right where you set it... So, I can only imagine the better brinsea would be absolutely incredible!

It came preset at 37.6 C and the humidity is preset to stay 35-45%. You can easily change the presets though. Obviously, you need to for the hatch.
Now, I have the humidity set to 68%, and I have not seen it off by more than 5%. The temp has not been off by more than .3 degrees. I say WOW to that!
After candling, and having it open it goes back to the presets within minutes. I am very happy with it. If my eggs don't hatch it will not be the bators fault!
That's where I found mine. Really nice people to deal with. Shipped it out quick. Call and see if they can do you a little better than the advertised price or maybe cut the shipping a little. It never hurts to ask.
Am I allowed to put that link in here??? Don't know. Just remove my post if it's not OK.
