r-com king suro 20

Hello,
I'm Italian boy and, sorry for my English.
Today is arrived to me r-com suro: I have try it with default setting 37.5°C and 45% humidity: the temp move up and down to 37.4 to 37.5°C and the humidity play at 44%. Advise me to move up the temp at 37.6°C?
I have another incubator (Novital 40) and I play it with 37.8°C and 47% humidity for the first 18day and 62% humidity in the last 3 day.
PandTpoultry send me a document that advise me to set the temperatur 37.5°C and 45% Humidity wth air flow close in the first 18 day and 37°C and 62% humidity in the last 3 day with air flow 1/3 open.
Is correct to set 37.5°C the temperature in the first 18 day and lower the temperature at 37°C in the last 3 day?
the next week I would to put Marans eggs inside.
thank you

I haven't lowered my temperature for hatching in any of my incubators ever. I just had an extremely successful hatch out of my suro, with the temp set at 99.9F & humidity at 35% up to day 18, then I up it to 55% for hatching. Hope this helps! Every body does things differently in one way or another though, so I'd do what has worked for you in the past. If your older incubator is a still air, the settings will be slightly different than with the suro. Also,

You think that ever incubators have different setting right? the air flow and insulation is different to incubators to incubators.
In r-com suro change the sponge with the bigger sponge in the last 3 day for increase the humidity over 55%??
You advise me to follow the pandtpoultry document for this incubator?
Thanks

If I were you, I'd probably follow the instructions you were given. I'd think they would want you to have the best hatch possible, therefore giving you the best advice they can

Check out this site and follow the videos, they are very helpful on setting up.
Check out their site for the videos on how to assemble. Go to far right and click on Resource I,II and III. It will show how to work with the evaporating pad. http://www.r-com.co.kr/

I left mine at the factory setting and never had any problems with it fluctuating. Do as 19hhbelgium stated, do not lower the temp during hatching. Do not need to adjust temps at all, keep it at the 37.5. You need to increase the humidity at last 3 days (lockdown). I kept mine humidity between 70 and 75. Easy to do, press and hold the + & - keys till you see the readout blinking to go into the setting mode. Then press the + key to increase. Keep hitting the ok button to go out of the setting mode. I hope this is what your asking and hope this has help you out. Good Luck!

How is everyones suro doing a year later? I have one and I am a little concerned about the accuracy of the temps and possibly the "cold and hot" spots.

Anyone?

Well I had to send mine off a month before the year was up to get the humidity pump fixed and it ended being in the control panel where a soldering came loose. I'm starting it up first time this year tonight and set my 18 eggs in it tomorrow after I get it stabilized. So far everything is looking good. I have had good hatches, but not sure on some of my eggs if fertile or not. Just taking a chance.

Mine worked great the 1st couple of uses, then the hatch rates went down to 2 chicks out of 24 eggs. The problem was the thermostat. It was reading 99.5 but when I checked with a digital thermometer it was only 95.0 I was able to adjust for temp and now it works well. The humidity was never a problem.
