But what a neat story that he came with the house... it sounds like you gave him a great life, and I bet he wouldn't want you to be duckless! Feel better

I have people kids as well as feather kids. I never let either type play in the road unsupervised no matter how fun they might think it was. I also live on a street with a low speed limit but that doesn't stop idiots from being idiotic. If the boys were riding bikes in the street, I was right there with them. As the "parent", you are responsible to keep your "kids" safe. I know it is not what you want to hear, but there ya go.

This is too sad. I'm so sorry Goat Walker, you must be devastated. Humans are such disappointments sometimes. I hope you and your flock are all getting by okay without him.
Lots and lots and lots of love

ANybody have a reliable wildlife center to call?? Ive tried a few and none work! Still looking though

sorry for your loss but if that guy is trying to hit the geese isn't there a law about killing wild waterfowl. I would call the sheriff and find out. Wish I was closer I would help.

Oh my goodness! How sad! Is there a fish and game office around? Perhaps they'll know. And, perhaps they can find a way to stop this and catch the people (or person) who are doing it. Too many too soon.

Sooo angry with who ever ran your lovely duck over.... Is it possible to ask for cctv camers to be put on that road? and make a point what if it was an old person on the road? maybe taken seriously ....
If it was done on purpose I hope that person gets lots of bad luck come their way!
RIP lill ducky x
