Today i went to feed my hens and my light sussex miley was gone i could find her so i looked around the feild and i couldnt find her then i went back to the pen and looked around there and there she was stuck undere the fence with her head gone, she had tryed to escape and then go killed!

Hm, head gone, eh? That sounds like a weasel or some other ferret creature. I once read that they will wipe out an entire flock of chickens just by going around and beheading everyone: nasty villains.

well im glad my other girls got away! but theres no way they will catch my 2 new ones they fly the fences fly on sheds over rivers they are radge! and there has been some stoats seen up there eating rabbitts if any more die they will have to be kept in al day untill i have dealt with the problem, i just wish they all got away, poor miley

Aww Im sorry to hear that. I to lost a loved hen this week the roosting bar fell on her and broke her neck....

Just give the other hens alot of attention my hens almost have completely stopped laying since the incident....
