Have you seen Watership Down??? That is what I would watch out for. Rabbits are not always as gentle as they look.

Feed your son the rabbit for dinner. Pretend its roast chicken and then put a chicken near a new rabbit hutch you buy. Put fur and meat from the fridge near it. I did this to mh daughter.

Are we sure we're talking about the right perpetrator....what about a raccoon or small criter like that .

I have cage raised bunnies and they would never eat or chew on anything flesh related, even when in heat.....I just find this one odd.

Sometimes the mother rabbits will eat their own newborns too. I used to raise rabbits years ago and had one that did it, so she went in the cockpot!

A long time ago I was at the forest preserve and I found a white rabbit. Obviously dumped, I took it home. It turned into Cujo. I was moving him to cleanthexarea and he latched on to my lip. The darn thing would not let go. Blood everywhere and I still have a scar.

My friend has just had this happen which is why I'm reading this thread, trying to find any information. A group of rabbits herded up and attacked a group of chickens that were enjoying their afternoon outing in a large, fenced pen.
