Rabbits Won't breed

Your problem is that she needs to go to GIS cage at HIS home. He won't breed in HER cage!!!!!
My dad had a rabbit breeding set up for several years and always put the buck in with the doe.

Well you got luck, I tried that and my buck fell asleep he was in there for 1 week nothing. 3 months after she was supposed to have them., nothing put her in with him and got babies. Not saying that it don't work, but it's not recommended.

Oh I didn't breed them in her cage, I read that rabbits are territorial (especially the females) so avoid putting them together in each other's cages. I have a special "Breeding Pen" that the only time a rabbit is in there is when I'm breeding them. I've never had issues before with when breeding my other buck and doe in this cage. Do you really think that's the issue? Should I try and see if I can have permission to take her over to his home and breed her there? I don't know if his owners have a separate breeding pen, but I do know that she'd NEVER fit inside his cage.

Ok, I'll talk to his owners and see if we can work out sometime when I can take my doe over there. I have one last question. Would she be a little nervous from being away from her home and not want to breed? Or would this not be a problem? I know for a fact that she was perfectly ready the other day when he was over here, she actually got upset when he didn't do anything and I had to separate them, not wanting any harm to come to a rabbit that isn't mine (for he is only half her size and she could easily injure him whether she means to or not). Thanks everybody for your tips and advice, you have all been most helpful. =)

It's true - it's pretty much agreed that you put the doe in the buck's cage. Otherwise, the buck is too interested in the new area (or intimidated, if you have a shy buck) and the doe may be territorial. Of course, if you have a separate breeding pen, that shouldn't be a problem. But if he is a shy buck, then he may not feel very romantic in a place he's not used to.

And run your hand down his back - is he overweight? You should be able to feel the spine easily. I have heard that fat bucks sometimes aren't interested in does.

I'm sorry he's not your own buck! I'm sure this would be easier to sort out if he was yours.
