If I was to breed my flemish giant male o something, what breed would be the best option (for meat). A newzealand? And how would the feed to weight ratio be? (Will I lose money?) he's 9 months old.

I don't know the feed to weight ratio, but I don know that with pure newzealands that you end up spending around $1 per pound of meat. It would be slightly more with a mix because they wouldn't be as efficient.

So would it be more worth it to do flemish giants as pets and also eat the offspring? Just wondering, I have never bred rabbits

There are lots of people who raise Flemish Giants for meat and can make a living off of that, so I think it will be fine.

I mean, you can eat any rabbit, and it would still be cheaper than store bought meat. BUT, on the most part, you make more profit by breeding and selling the offspring then to process them all. At least that's my thoughts.

Were you able to catch the mum? Its time consuming to hand feed them, but at this age they should already eat solids as well as milk. You have a chance of keeping them alive, good luck!

I caught the mom n there all doing fine I just weaned the babies a few days ago

I have three Rex Does at home and today I went to an auction to look for a buck. I ended up buying two of them but I didn't realize till I got home that the Bucks are the mini Rex breed. Can I still breed them or no?

No problem. When people deliberately cross rabbits of radically different sizes, it's usually recommended that the doe be the bigger of the pair;you can get into trouble breeding a small doe to a bigger buck.
