Beautiful job. You have a fine vet there. Our local vet will treat emus and ostriches but now chickens. I once asked him if I taped stilts to my chickens legs and plucked the feathers from their heads and necks would he treat them....he wouldn't bite.

She really looks fantastic. I'm glad she is doing well and you were able to get help for her.

View attachment 1933083 Last night I got home later than expected and didn't lock up the birds. When I went out to check/lock them I found one of my birds had been badly injured by what im sure was a raccoon. I found her relatively soon after, so we tried to bring her in and clean her up, she is now staying in the bath tub. It grabbed her wing and basically pulled all the skin off the top of her wing. It goes down deep, and she has little to no mobility right now. The rest of her body was ok. We disinfected it and tried to loosely wrap it in place so it would still get air in the wound. Anyone had experience with regrowing large amounts of tissue on chickens. We haven't seen a vet yet, we will probably have to bring her in. Just want to know if there's any hope in saving the wing. Picture below.
I had a pullet hang by her wing (jammed in a bend of a folding chair) all night a month or so ago when she attempted to roost in our shed. I'll attach photos. She now has new feathers growing in, as I had trimmed off all her wing feathers to lighten her wing for her (her wing would drag on the ground beside her & trip her up). She doesn't extend her wing fully but uses it to balance when running or jumping. After her injury her wing swole up so much fluid was weeping from her feather follicles, so I put a small cut along the end section of her wing to let it drain. I boosted her feed with protein & mealworms to help her heal, plus sprayed antiseptic spray on the injuries daily. Amazing how resilient they are.
