I'd def change it enough to make it more secure. And if you can lock them up at night they will feel more secure once they get use to their new accommodations . Just make sure they have plenty of ventilation in their coop so they don't over heat or the moisture they produce causes mildew/mold.

As for hatching these 2 eggs you'll need an incubator unless you have a broody duck.

Honey....you just go grab up them ducks. They can be like children who don’t know what’s good for them. Sure they might get a little ticked off but oh well....
