My chickens were attacked by a raccoon and I lost 2 of them but one is injured. It looks like more of a scratch than a bite. Can someone help me with what I should do for my chicken. I went to tractor supply and picked up some wound spray and we have been spraying her daily. It looks like it’s getting better, I think. Can I get some feed back? The wound spray smells likes it has tea tree oil in it.

When any of my chickens have gotten a deep injury like that i use something sticky like corona or bag balm. Household stuff like niesporin or triple antibotic is good also. Yes it gets messy but keeps the skin moist so it can heal.
The stickyness will keep flies off and prevent fly strike.
Good luck with your hen.
Did you fix however the raccoon accessed your hens in the first place?

Yes, we did find out where that sneaky coin got in. We fixed it and they are safe now. Thank Goodness! Thank you for your feedback.
