For bait, I've had success with: dried cat food, soft cat food, sardines, peanut butter, eggs, scratch, & kitchen meat scraps.

My choice would be Sean Hannity. That annoying laugh reminds me of Burgis Meridith's Penguin character from the Batman TV show. Of course it could make your hens stop laying. I think hearing his squawking laugh over and over would shut down any animals reproductive system.

Recordings of Hilary Clinton's scream or the scream of Howard Dean could be great choices as well. Howard Dean's famous scream did sound a lot like a crow's caw! caw! caw! so it could be effective against hawks as well. Something to think about.....

I would trap and kill.Besides the threat to the chickens there is the exposure to their likely roundworm infestations.Yes,been watching Monsters inside me and there was another episode last night of roundworms eating the eyes of an adult male.Last time it was a little boys eyes.Ugh, I just want them out of my yard.
