raining

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! If they do not know how to go in the coop, I would consider putting them in, especially if they are young and the weather is on the cool side, you do not want them getting wet and getting chilled.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

X3 Chicks don't always know to go into the coop and new birds you have recently acquired may not go into the coop yet. So yes, you might round them up and get them inside. :-)

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I would suggest putting a roof on top of the run. Not only will it keep the rain off of the chickens when they are in the run, but it will keep the floor of the run from getting so wet and muddy as well. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
