Yup! My bator is closed for business until spring!

So is mine...but somehow I can't shut down the broody factory!! A BCM went broody (some of you will call "crazy-eyed" MaryAnn) yesterday and I just gave her eggs because, frankly, this one has been off and on broody for months now. Figure we best get this over with!

Glad you're back! We periodically experience internet issues out here, too - unreliable antenna issues - but we are only 5 miles to a Starbucks with free WiFi.

i tried to take some pictures of my chicks to see if you guys and girls can tell me if i have roosters and hens it looks like i have 4 roosters because of the big combs and 4 hens with small combs can you tell me if i am right or wrong lol

I think you are probably right - the barred ones always seem to sprout combs early when they're male. Not sure though, on your white ones... the stance on the first one makes me think boy, but I'm not sure yet.
I have a couple who are mysterious to me yet, and they're old enough that I really should know... or maybe I'm in denial that they're all male, but I'm keeping them with the pullets "on the off chance.."

Ack! Noooo! ! This cute little splash copper marans "pullet" just proved to be a cockerel!

I've had some suspicions lately, but after chasing him off the top of the run yet again, he grabbed a pullet in a very "non pullet" way. I will see if I can get a pic of "him" tomorrow. He's beautiful. But I'm still a little bummed.
