Raising chickens in a backyard in a subdivision laws and sorts

So I want to know about raising chickens in a subdivision. I miss my RIR rooster because it was too noisy and a neighbor complain so I have to butcher it. I have to cut my hen primary wings because it was going onto my neighbor yard and making a mess. So, can you guys tell me how raising chickens in a subdivision. I mean like the laws of it.
