Sorry, but spinach is not good for ducks... spinach binds to calcium and can cause issues in their development...

You beat me to it. I used to give mine spinach till I learned that.
Mine love dandelion greens now instead.

puppy pee pad and aspen shavings.

Just watch the puppy pee pads, eventually they do tear those up and eating it would not be good for him... aspen or pine shavings are just fine...

Dandelions are a fave, and good for them... we *used* to have tons of dandelions in our yard... haven't seen one in 2 years now, lol...

My yard is so dry I've been having to hunt for them. Ducks are missing their dandelion salads. I've been giving them a few peas (frozen de thawed not from a can) here and there as a treat since the greens are drying up outside.

I started mine on paper towel over newspaper, then to newspaper when they were stable and they're on shavings now. They were curious at first but they don't look at the shavings now.

Mine are only going to be two weeks and they're doing very well with 31 other young birds and two small roosters. They navigate the anarchy very well. The little Old English Game Bantams are the hardest on everything...lol. And they're the smallest.
