Raising Quail with Biddies

I have a separate coop I designate for raising my biddies in once they are big enough that they hop out of the brooder box, but before they are big enough to go in with the big flock. Could I also raise quail in this coop? I assume if the chicks are small when they enter they won’t harm the quail, but I don’t know. Since I only use that coop for a transition time I hate for it to sit empty most of the time.

Mixed birds are not generally recommended but can be done if you’re willing to accept the potential consequences. I have kept my coturnix with chickens, ducks, pheasant, turkeys, budgies, finches, etc but there’s potential of aggression, disease, security/housing/feed differences etc.
