do my chickens need a ramp to get to the nesting boxes?? they are about 18 inches off the ground of the coop so they could fly up there right?

We made a little "staircase" up to the nest boxes inside the coop on one wall. But, before that was added on (when we realized they couldn't get up lol) we used a wooden box.

I'm sure you have something safe for them to climb up on?? Good luck

At only 18", they shouldn't need a ramp.

well im using milk crates so they should be able to or should i put them on the ground ill put up some pics later of the whole coop
