RAN OUT OF CHICK STARTER!!! please help asap

In addition to feed stores, a few hardware stores around us carry chick starter in the spring. Hope you find some!

My local hardware store is closed on the weekends.

They are basically out of food!

I am wondering if it will hurt my chicks to suddenly switch from non-medicated to medicated food for a little bit than suddenly switch back?? Thats the only available one at Walmart.

PLEASE HELP.

If I were mixing something for a day or two, I would use some corn meal, oats, whole wheat, cooked egg, and some sunflower seeds or nuts. Chickens can eat some chopped meat or fish, but just a little and provide grit. Again, I would try to get some feed in a day or two.

Medicated or non-medicated feed is fine—doesn’t matter, and won’t hurt them.

Medicated to non medicated and back again won't hurt them. All flock won't hurt them.

Walmart might have it. We are not sure and they won't pick up the phone.

Check on the Walmart app. Local General stores have it, even a local gas station! Country things

I ended up getting a small bag of medicated chick starter from Walmart.

Tomorrow TSC should get a shipment in.
