I mean, I wasn't even interested in selling the birds in the FIRST place!

What does a hens age and weight even matter for? It should be age and laying ability...the weight would be for a different purpose altogether and if a hen is laying...guess what...you're gonna get to tenderize the meat ANYWAY!

I'll give a hint. It was a he. Oddly enough, his email address had a 59 in it. So does that mean he was BORN in 59 or that he was 59 years old???

As a SIDE rant:

I REALLY hate it when people ask you to bring a bird to them from 4 hours away (because you're going down there anyway), then, decide to NOT show up without calling. So you call them to ask what's going on. "Oh...I'm not sure if I'm going to make it...could you wait another hour?"

I'm sorry but if you made the time to be there and made me bring an extra bird along....

I called someone a while back about me having some extra silkie roosters that I needed to get rid of. Now, this was a breeder like many of the people on here, and very serious. I straight up and told her the first thing that these were hatchery birds. She had me explain to her some characteristics of the birds like their comb color, foot feathering, yada yada and so we set a date for the following Friday of that week. Well... what do ya know? SHE NEVER SHOWED! I got ticked. I know they were hatchery stock and all but honestly, she could've called me to say that she didn't want them! Sheesh!

I had someone call a few weeks back and wanted to buy my RIR chicks I had for sale. I had 11 left at the time for $1.50 each. They really wanted them bad. But wanted me to bring them an hour away to meet them with the chicks. When I asked for some gas money for delivering them they didnt want them then.

And to TOP IT OFF...the person who was supposed to be purchasing the birds has JUST decided to sell her entire flock...which means she strung me along all this time, which means that I have lost out on 3 different offers from people I SHOULD have sold to.
