Sure.

The only answer from her I've seen to the points made is that she needed time to check them before publishing.

I can agree with her comments about free range eggs to the extent that those for sale in the bigger stores are probably free range by the most limited definition acceptable by regulators. The birds may still be treated harshly. Perhaps she overlooked the alternative market represented by many members here and I hope that she takes the trouble to learn about it.

We buy as little 'fresh' produce from supermarkets as possible. Our local street market sells mainly produce from small farms and back yard farmers. It's fresher and less saturated in chemicals. Often, it's much cheaper too. Our local shop across the lane sells eggs from the homes around here and those birds are as free range as you can get. Local eggs have stronger shells, more colour in the yolks and taste better.

I doubt whether the lady will accept any case in favour of humane farming because she is philosophically against 'using' animals, even though she's doing just that herself.

I posted and my post went up in three seconds or less. I think she has enough information to thoughtfully sit back and correct her mistakes after she has time to digest all comments. I did not see any comments that agreed with her.

Oh, Cathrine has finally decided that she doesn't like opposing views and deleted some comments. So, perhaps I'm right and Veganism doesn't stand up to scrutiny. It's not far off 11.00pm here so, if she's really in Oz she 's keeping late hours.

Honestly, there are misconceptions, extremes, and falsities being pushed forward by both sides. Glad to see some really solid points too though.
