Rare Breed Assortment - want to figure out, impatient for feathering out (<2wks old)

Opps, I think that previous post is a picture of the one I think is a Cochin. Don't have a good close up of the bright yellow chicks with right now.

Remember, nearly every breed out there comes in a small to huge variety of colors. It's probably just white Cochin vs buff Cochin.

That second picture you posted on the first page- that "yellow" chick in the back looks like a splash bird to me. What color are the legs and how much leg feathering does it have? You might have a Splash Marans and not a Cochin.

Can you post a better pic of it?

Thanks Trish - hadn't considered a Maran (didn't know they were feather-footed and there weren't any pictures of the Maran chicks on the hatchery webpage).

Here is a newer picture of the darker yellow, feather-footed and the lighter yellow, prob. still a Cochin.
