Thanks for asking. I love talking about my pets.

I have the six ducks (Liliuokalani, Adele, Josephine, Jesse, Quackers, and Puddles), 11 chickens (Kiwi, Molly, Pumpkin, Cookie, Little Cookie, Pepper, Henrietta, Lucy, Lily, Jasmine, and Sandy.), six fish (Comet, Alfred, Wilfred, Sucker, B.C., and Cory.) Four parakeets (Ferguson, Amiga, Bradford, and another that doesn't have a name yet. Bradford and the nameless one are about three weeks old.), one dog (Orien), and one mouse (Thomas.)

How about you? What pets do you have?

They all sound very cute!!! Id love to see some pics!
Ill tell you my pets in a bit, have to get going!

Here's Adele, Josephine, and Jesse (and Quackers, in the back) today with Orien ...

... and some of the chickens. It's nearly impossible to get a good pic of all of them, but there's six of 'em: Jasmine is the one not drinking, and the others around the waterer are, clockwise starting at the Orpington, Henrietta, Pumpkin, Cookie, Molly, Pepper, and Sandy.

and here's Kiwi, the rooster. His tail kinda fell out

. In this picture, he still has one good tail feather, but now he has one tail feather that is about an inch or two long. Looks a little ridiculous as he tries to show off to his hens.

my favorite fish, Comet. :)

I think you've said before, but the rabbit in your avatar is a Black Tan, right? I'm learning alot about rabbits from a friend of mine and I'm still trying to get the Tan colors straight!

Yes black tan. :) she was on the trampoline today... It was ridiculous XD I have a fish just like yours, except mine is a female. I just call al my fish "fishy" because I mainly have tropical fish that look the same. But I called that one Cupcake. Idk why!
Spitty one the trampoline.

Granted I adopted full grown, adult ducks, but when I brought them home, my youngest barn cat was very interested but kept his distance the first night... and since then I have not seen my three cats anywhere near my ducks. They do not seem interested in messing with them. One cat I have seen use the duck yard as a shortcut to our pasture, but even he keeps as far away as possible and slips in and out. I was quite surprised to see my three hunters not even show interest in the ducks! And my dogs have been quite respectful as well one on one, though I wouldn't doubt that if all 8 of the dogs got out of their yard that they would make a game of chasing the ducks. So I'm working on doing one or two dogs introductions with the ducks to prevent any awful event in the future! I believe my ducks only real threat from my own animals is if they wonder too close to my momma donkey and her baby

I remember the pics of when she was a little duckling, and now she's so big! I love it when they flap their wings like that.
I'm not real familiar with Orpington ducks; how big is she compared to the others?
