I know, everyone hates rats, but actually, they are great creatures! I have them for pets, I know a lot of people who do, and everybody agrees with me: they are the best! They are sweet, cuddly and smart. I love them! I understand some people think of sewer rats, but no. Not domestic rats! And no, they did NOT cause the black death! Latest researches prove it was fleas on the rats, but is that the rats fault? Nooooo. See how cute they are?

Rats are only cute when my cat eats them. I just hate rodents. They really dont serve a purpose. IMO

Cute ,smart and not at fault with the Bubonic Plague but some of them are not nice.

The best pet rat I've ever had was a hairless rat. He was really cuddly and loved to lick.

I had an eastern wood rat for a pet for over four years. I still miss her and I still dream about her thirty years later.
She was one of the best pets I ever had.

...however, when the wood rats and cotton rats move into the greenhouses, they cause a lot of damage.
They are great pets, but when they aren't pets... the love is less there, if you know what I mean.
