We culled them do to MG. We got 6 chickens from a NPIP breeder and kept them isolated for a few months, everything seemed fine so we put them with the rest of the flock than a tornado came through and triggered the MG. Our goal is to sell chicks and chickens (and for our meat and eggs) and could never sell ill birds to anyone so we culled 200+ chicks/chickens. It was very hard and I will start tearing up when I think about it. A lot of them had names and we loved them like our pets and I ended up crying my eyes out. But now we only get from one place and that's it. So now we watch the flock very carefully. We culled the flock so other peoples chickens don't get MG even though its in 80% of backyard flocks.
