Rats!!! hurrry help!!!

Found a mama rat today in the garage which is right next to the chicken run...... she has 6 brandnew looking babies in a nest. now what do we do? if we snap trap the mama what do we do with the babies? feed them to the chickens? throw them away? what in the world do we do now? AAAAAWWWW!

Hate to tell you this, but they breed like rats and can carry disease. They will grow up and chew off your chickens faces.

ok so not so cute! we are going to leave them for 2 days hoping mamma comes back. we put the trap by the holes we saw her leave through. between there and the babies. if we dont catch her we will feed the babies to the chickens.

you say they are disease infested but they wont make chicken sick if they eat them? thanks for the input.
