There are some nights when my cameras go off and yet I didn't capture anything. Since the trigger is like .2 ~(.6s) trigger speed that is plenty of time for a critter to set it off without getting it's picture taken. I do video. I use rechargeable batteries in my cameras. I don't think they last as long but I can recharge them. I always have an extra set of charged batteries.
This is one of the frequent visitors here. I noticed that it has a injured front right paw/leg. A couple of weeks ago it was running on three legs. It has been using that leg now but it isn't right. I think it broke it but it's healing crooked.
