Most of my hens (a year old) have raw/pecked areas around their vents and on their back by their tails. This has been going on a while. I have tried so many things. Enrichment (they cans free range), treating for mites (even though I’ve seen no evidence), and they even have pinless peepers on. They have plenty of room for the number of birds. It’s stressing me out and breaking my heart. I thought it was bullying but I’m not sure it completely is bc I do see them picking at themselves. Any suggestions?? Has anyone else felt with this?

Have had several incidences of that red skin thing.
Seems to come and go every few days....or last longer then go away.
Never figured out just what it was.
It's ugly for sure, but didn't seem to bother the birds much.
