Raw onion scraps?

They pecked around them. Little brats. Although, onion flavored eggs do not sound delish.

My girls went gah-gah for my boyfriend's leftover cooked onions (he hates onions, I love them, I cook, he gets them in his food... tough, I say!). The onions were chopped pretty finely and the babies LOVED them.

They wouldn't touch watermelon though.
