I have 2 -2week old chicks that have been inside.I have shut the light off,I live in Florida and it is still in the high 80's mid 70's at night. Is it to soon put but them outside? They will be in their own coop.

As long as the temp is right and they are safe from predators then yep they can go out. I brood mine in a hutch in the garage then put in the small coop. So they are kind of always outside.

Not without a heat source if it's getting down to 70.

The recommendation for heat is 95' for the first week and then lower 5' each week. That would be 90' for 2 wks old - 85' for 3 wks old, etc.

70' would be ok for a 5 wk old. They would have the feather development by then to stay warm.

With only 2 chicks, they aren't going to be able to huddle much to keep warm either.
