almost 11 weeks old, raised together Pekin Drake and Khaki Campbell hen. I don't know the best way to do this, but I am starting to panic about my ability to care for them properly so I will start here and also ask a friend that has a better setting than I do and has expressed interest in ducks after seeing mine. I am in Southeast Pa.

Awe. It has got to be a tough decision for sure. I think the duckling stage is the hardest and you have gotten past that. I think your drake is just testing you as he's just now getting to that age. But, whatever you decide is what is best for your situation. :hugs
So true. And I should have said I’m so sorry that you have to make this decision.

I felt a little overwhelmed when I got my 2 adult pekins. I adopted them from a shelter and felt (and still feel) a strong obligation to take great care of them. I used to obsess about every little detail. Is he limping, is this the right food etc. This forum has been invaluable. I now realize they are relatively easy to care for, and are happier than I thought. Mine are fighting like cats and dogs if unsupervised, so when they're alone they're seperated but can see each other. It's not ideal but it buys me time until I can figure our how to proceed. I think you're doing very well. But if you need to rehome it's your decision. Thunder duck is interested, and in a pinch I could take them, so you have options and we are here to help!
