Re-introduction

Hey there all, I am about to transplant myself and family from Jersey to Maine. We are going to try and get more involved in the chicken world once we get up there.

But first a question: Should I move my coop (paid $900 for it! It's custom made and wonderful) and 3 chickens? It is a 7h drive (including crossing the Hudson), and we'd have to tow the coop.

Second question: Has anyone noticed a need for a vet at a swap? I am a USDA Cat II accredited vet and looking for work up in ME. Would it be useful to have a vet on site to sign CVI and Health certs?

Yeah, I think with the cost of towing it (and the PITA factor) selling is the plan. Plus, that'll give me some time to get a good spot cleared for the new one!
