Feedback Read before replying!!

I think human nature generates some postings. We like to see our thoughts "on the big screen". I read more than I post, but when I post I try not to repeat and read through. Emotion often powers the word, but I think as a whole good intentions are intended. I am always sad if I read of a bird loss. Small flock here, but BIG appreciation for constructive thoughts! Thanks much BYC

Wonders how many people reply from their email instead of actually coming to the forum and catching up on the thread, where there may be dozens of posts after the one they were notified of via email? Have seen this happen on other forums/groups, not sure if it works like that here tho.
In this case I don't think either poster had posted in the thread before, so don't think they would have replied via email?

I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but maybe there could be an option on a thread where the owner can switch a button so that it displays the thread as "Solved" or "Answered". That way, people can still use the thread for help with their own flocks, but it would make it very obvious that no more help of suggestions are needed. Or maybe it could even disable the comment section all together. Thanks for listening! Sorry if this is a repeat. :)

No offense, but your post is exactly what this thread is about! You commented before you read.

I'm curious, I wonder how many pages people read before posting? And would people be more likely to read more posts if there were more posts on a page?
