You're right about that! I actually started building it in November, but I hit a few snags. I should have completed it all the way before placing my order!Chicks are well ready for the coop at 4 - 5 weeks old, and many of us brood our chicks in the coop. OP story is an excellent example of why it's important to build the coop before getting chicks. And I am the ultimate hypocrite with this statement!
