Well, so I've done it again. My "pullet bin" odds are hovering at 50-50 and I've got me another forbidden urban rooster. Check out how very "subtle" the boy is...*snort*
These are my 5-week old Ameraucana (EE, whatever) chicks. My question is, should I have known not to grab the 2-week old roo out of the bin because he was bigger and healthier and yellower, (see the very last photo of the day I got them) or are those not sex traits you can use at 2-weeks. (He was just so big and healthy looking I had to grab him! Seems big and healthy = boy, boy, boy. Kerri = dumb, dumb, dumb).

I had a moment's excitement when those kinda girly-looking chest feathers came in at 3 weeks...but no...

Nice big pink comb...aaaaaggh!

See? Here they are at 2 weeks. Was I stupid to grab such different looking chicks at that age?
Anyways, enjoy the pix. I love reading this thread, though I'm clearly not to be trusted to ID pullets.
Anyone nearby want an Ameraucana rooster?
