Reasons to live in the South

Let me interject a little bit of history here...South is below the Mason-Dixon Line. West-by-God-Virginia (and Maryland, believe it or not) are below the MDL.
I have a certain fondness for Wv, even though I only lived there 4 yrs. It's where I consider home.
But, I digress...
Reasons to live in the South...well, after reading this thread, everyone has already mentioned the things I came up with:
fried okra, RC Cola & moon pies, grits, etc
NObody mentioned COLLARDS, though!
I love the way when you have a cook out down here, it turns into a family reunion;
I love not having to use heat in the 'winter;'
I love that we really only have 2 seasons--sprummer & finter;
It's sooo laid back here, and the weather...oh, I mentioned that, didn't I?

I love the fact that you can park your truck in the middle of the hayfield, build a bonfire, call a couple buddies and it becomes an all out party.
