Reba McEntire concert tickets, $595.00?

Taylor Swift was 225.00 on the floor. I promised my son and his girlfriend I would get them 4 ticket for christmas(last). Parking was 50.00

. All said and done it was about 1200.00 for one night.

Southeast Texas is crazy expensive! Alot of the shows that come to the casinos in louisiana are pretty good it may be 50-75 a ticket but your in a small venue so every seat is good. The Judds just came to a local venue for there farewell tour (again!) cheap seats where $100 no way!!!Last rip off was sammy hagar 65.00 a ticket horrible seating, concert was blah.....Best deal i spent 130.00 for two floor seats(2nd row!!) two years ago to see jason aldean and luke bryan i was so close i could see the sweat on jason aldeans chest

I thought only Babs Striesand charged that much to see her... WOW. And now Reba thinks she's in that class... Amazing. NOPE. I can think of so many other things that I could spend that money on and actually get continuous enjoyment... Like house payment... new TV. A chicken coop fully loaded with a chicken dance hall strobe globe and little leprachauns to do immediate poopoo detail. Yup. Delusional.

My hubby is an ALL time football addict....UNTIL......One of the pro players said that being in the NFL was as good as being a slave.....Making 10 mill in 4 years. If you got hurt you only got 2.5 mill per year.......Can I be a slave for say....6 months? PLEASE?

I wasn't picking on Reba as much as I was picking on the sheer price.
I like her. Cute thing, 56 years old and an amazing voice. As any singer,
some songs I like better than others.

But just not at that price.

What is entertainment worth? As a family, it's way up there anymore to
even go see a simple movie. Professional ball game? Nascar race?

My family isn't hurting for entertaiment. You know we're in the local theater.
So we support our local people. Great singers, dancers, other actors. Even
local racers. (drag track and roundy) Always something going on.

But we're at a level where it's fun, and about the fun. I like it there. Few
dollars buys you a ticket to almost anything.

When does it really become all about the money?

If it starts to take $1800 a night to entertain me, I've got a problem.

Did everyone hear Mississippi Farm Boy singing? Sounded pretty good to me.
And I would much rather hear him sing because he enjoyed himself and his
friends than I would to pay Reba's price.

**Matter of fact, Farm Boy...where's that CD you were gonna send me?
