Rebuilding my Farm

Someone shared the link to your post with me and I finished reading it last night. Your courage to solider on is amazing. I can tell you are a wonderful young man!

I am so sorry you have had to start over again, but I also know that the Lord has a way to let us endure trials that seem so horrible, but work in us patience, humilty and grace in ways we would never know in the good times.

I was also saddened to hear about your nephew. I loved what you said about him. I am sure you will see him again, just as David said that he would see his son.

For your new efforts to rebuild, I came across this: http://www.shagbarkbantams.com/oxine.htm

http://www.firststatevetsupply.com/store2/disinfectants/oxine-gallon.html

It is safe to use, and even organic if you do not activate it. It should treat all sick birds, the coops and you can treat eggs as well. It would be much better then antibiotics, since their overuse (abuse) is leading to so many really serious issues. You could get a fogger and fog everything once a week. I doubt you would ever see any more sick birds (plus you can add it to their water)

I wish you strength. You are amazing to be able to go thru this.
I looked you up because I know Wynette had sold the Tomaru to you.
I have someone looking for eggs in the spring. I hope things are much better by then.
And yes, Oxine is da bomb. Spray it everywhere, on everything.
I use it when I show, kind of like the can of Lysol next to the phone.
Hugs.

Thanks everyone!

I have ordered the Oxine, can't wait to put it in the water line!

Everyone here is doing fine, and more pullets are laying now, soon I will be separating the breeds for breeding. YAY!

Got a new job, well 2 jobs. They are both at local dairy farms. One at every Saturday morning at 2 am to 6:30 am, and the other job is everyday at 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm, and double shifts at every other day at 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. Both farm have their cows milked 3 times a day! For 2 weeks I have to be at the farm at 3 am every morning! So glad that they changed my hours around due the issue of my coworker. YAY, I get to sleep in! So, been very busy! I am trying to get everything winterized for the winter that will be hitting us very soon.

One of the most coolest thing is that one of the guys that work at the farm used to own Bella before he sold her to a guy, who sold her to me! He still have Bella's mother! And Maybelle's father too!
I went to his farm today, it was cool to be there!

Very beautiful pure Guernsey. Can't wait to get my own Guernsey cow!

very nice pics cows are very pretty but on the computer is the only way I want to see them :)

Very nice cows, I do see a resemblance in the first set markings. How are you chickens doing? No more MG?
