Rebuilding my Farm

OMG I AM TERRIFED OF COWS. I see them and freak out I know stuped fear but 14 years ago got chased by 2 bulls one so close I was able to slap it on the nose (we were on quads) every senice then I freeze up when I see them and my heart starts to race and I have trouble breathing and I want to run run run run run.

very nice pics cows are very pretty but on the computer is the only way I want to see them :)

Not all cows will chase you. Maybelle's father did not chase me when I was in the pasture with him. The owner said that he is very docile bull, and have never chased anybody. :)
Bella and my steers will eat anything out of your hand, like apples. :D

So glad your not dealing with that any more.

Great news!!!!

I finally caught Bella mounting one of the steers, and acting like she is in heat! I checked her over, and texted my friend (Bella's former owner) to confirm if Bella is in heat. He texted me back saying that she sounds like that she is in heat and I should call the AI guy to breed her. So... I did, and he came over and confirmed that she is in heat, and AI her! If she settles and really got bred, she will be due in July! Woot!

The AI guy gave me the bull's name and serial number and I looked it up.

This is the future calf's father- A pure Guernsey

Thank you for sharing. I am fairly new to chickens so I have been reading up on diseases and biosecurity. This BYC site has a wealth of information in it!

Thanks, glad that you are liking this site. :)

Oh, forgot to mention!
Yesterday, I drew some blood out of Bella to be tested to see if she is pregnant or not, I will know the results tomorrow. I pray that she is! The testing is only $2.62!!!! If I had the vet come and preg check her, it would have costed me about $60.00! Thank God for letting me find that dairy job!
