Congrats on getting your new babies well this time!

It is so much fun to watch them grow and try to figure out what each one is.

Sorry about your chicks :(

I order 21 chicks from Meyer last month. They shipped on the 11th and arrived the next day. I live in southern michigan. All arrived safe and sound. Sorry your babies didn't make it but I wouldn't automatically assume it was the hatchery's fault. They could have been mishandled along the way by the post office.

Here are a few pics of the chicks I received. Of course these are only a few samples and I have no idea what some of them are.

Have no idea what this lil guy is..1st and 2nd pic are same chick.

Looks kinda like a barred rock but no dots on heas??

Paint or Splash silkie???

The 8 silkies I received in Leann's Assortment

Dont know what these guys are ...far right is colored like my easter eggers, but does not have the beard/muffs

This is the 1st chick again

I got some chicks from Meyer like the 1st one, and it is either an ancona or exchequer leghorn. They are black with white splotches and lay large white eggs.

I'm pretty sure the second from the right is a Partridge Cochin. Here's a picture of ours:

The first on the left looks like a Australorp or Giant (white or black) to me. And the one next to it... Production or Rhode Island Red?

There are our Rhode Island Reds

Could the last chick in that picture be a leghorn of some kind?

I was thinking partridge cochin too. I have several and they are very fluffy and have a squatty stance and have legs that are more fuzzy than feathered right now. I will ck out the bottom of far left's feet to see if it is an australorp or black giant. Got several of the reddish ones that I am guessing are some type of red (RI, Plymouth or production). As for the far right...I have no clue. Could be anything. Guess I will hafta wait and see. Thanx
