This recent temp drop was too much for my new roo. I found him almost dead in the house While the girls were out foraging. I put him in one of my large incubators to help warm up. Am I doing the right thing? He seems to be getting strength back and sitting up again but still shivering and has his eyes closed

Do you have a hand held hair dryer? Turn the roo on his side and blow warm air (not hot) under each wing pit and on his breast and abdomen. Those are the places where there is maximum blood flow and you will warm him much faster by focusing the heat on those spots.

Then give him warm water with electrolytes or warm Gatoraid. Or warm sugar water if that's all you have.

Went to grab him from the incubator and tried to fly out. Will give him sugar water and keep him inside until it warms up again
