Recent rash of yolkless wind eggs - UPDATE

Are they eating it or just snacks. I noticed after it got warmer out my girls were eating alot of worms and grass and cutting back on feed

I found when I cut Layena pellets half and half with Flock Raiser my egg numbers improved significantly.

Their feed consumption has gone down quite a bit. They seem to be just amusing themselves and their tummies in the yard. Plus I give them wheat and barley and split peas and so on for snacks.

Still no eggs. Their feathers are ragged at the tips, but no real big losses yet. They look fluffy and healthy. It's weird to me that they all up and stopped laying at exactly the same time.

Add: Also, they are a lot more skittish and less personable. I used to be able to just pick at least one of them up and now they skitter away. They have stopped their mating squat behavior as well.
