Record for most Racoons caught in one place!

He took them to the city of Fort Worth animal control. I didn't ask him what they said they did with them. I am thinking a really nice racoon resort somewhere. LOL

I have a problem out here with animal dumpers. We have a designated "wetlands" across from me. Doesn't mean wildlife and unwanted pet dumping area. My gun has gotten plenty of use since the economy has tanked. I just wish they'd dump a nice German shepherd puppy. I've been wanting another LGD

strawberry zingers huh? I may have to give those a try if you've had that much success! I wish there was something that way 100% irresistible to coons, but didn't attract anything else like cats, skunks, or chickens:

Rob, try using eggs. you may catch as many possums as you do coons, but regular old eggs seem to work as well. I don't get as many with eggs, because I think the bait I use is especially fragrant......

The Strawberry Zingers worked great for possums also. He has caught about 12 possums. The Zingers also got 2 squirrels, 1 cardinal, the neighbor's black cat (2 times). I think my mother in law has gotten all the holes in her soffitts fixed so she hasn't been setting the traps. I think she misses the racoons coming up to her patio door and cupping their paws around their eyes to look in. We still have traps set around our chicken coop but havn't caught anything in a long while. Only caught 1 racoon, 6 possums, the cardinal, squirrels and cat at our house. Two years ago we had several coyotes running the neighborhood. A coyote that was obviously nursing pups snatched one of my hens that was scratching right next to me in the garden in the middle of the day! I think the city finally caught and relocated them. We had a coopers hawk that was casing our coop. Even went in the barn and perched at the door, perched in the stall next to the coop and over the coop in the rafters. But havn't seen him either. Maybe they are migratory in our area. I still havn't let the girls our to free range. Maybe in the spring for an hour or so at sunset with someone watching. It's a shame since we have 2 acres.

So how many chickens did all these animals get?

Did you guys just decide to declair total war?
