How she doing right now...is she up for a photo shoot?
I tried to take a picture but we have the crate in a dark corner of the bedroom. There is some really good news. When I got home from work she started eating her food!!!! I think she ate more in a half hour than I remember all 9 eating at once when we were brooding them. We gave her a few mealworms, a little bit of chopped grapes, and of course her banana flavored antibiotics after she at the allflock . Thanks all for the advice when I was reaching out while at work today. The dogs are getting used to her. She is still a little unsteady but she can extend her neck out all the way. She is losing less feathers than before. It is all around good news.

Physical therapy . Her improvements today are the duck stretch with full wing extension and walking better. She is also drilling the towel that is soaking up all she spills from her water dispenser . She swam and dunked her head and had a real good time in the tub she was brooded in. For those concerned about the security of our ducks, we went out and put a second layer of hardware cloth all over the outside of the run part of the run/coop. I do not understand why the commercial builder put the wire on the inside instead of the outside. It may look better that way, but, it is not stronger. I have read on here so many times about ducks getting attacked or having other problems so bad they had to go to the vet and most times it does not turn out as good as this. We are very thankful.

Maybe you need to AMP up the fence. Or put something like bacon half wrapped in foil
on the fence in a few spots (when power is off)to lure coyotes, dogs, etc. to touch their NOSES to the wire. Animals with thick coats are somewhat insulated from the shock.

If they get a good shock you will hear their response and they won't be back.

I was thinking peanut butter. That way they would be licking it. Like the half wrapped in foil idea.
