I found a bump on my BO's head. It sticks out about 1 inch from her head and is a bluish green. It is around where the rooster holds. Is it safe to cut open ? Thanks

It sounds like an infection of some sort. I'd sanitize the area with betadine, then poke through it with a sterilized needle, give it a squeeze and see if pus oozes out. If pus come out, I'd squeeze it all out as hard as I could. Flush it with 50/50 water/betadine solution. Then pack it with neosporin (without pain reliever.)
If no pus comes out, soak it with a damp warm washcloth to soften it up, then try lancing it, apply washcloth again to try and draw the infection out.
You'll probably have to seperate her, the others most likely will pick on her.
