Hello,
My blue marans hen has a red area on her skin on the left side below the cloac. It is clearly swollen. It has been like this for some months now. I thought it would get better after we killed the rooster 5 weeks ago, but it has still not healed. It looks like the feathers in this area does not grow properly. And yesterday after I took this picture I removed an ingrown feather, you can see it in the picture
Do you know what I can do to help her?
