So the only thing this has to do with chickens, is I was reminded of this fact while I was digging for worms in the garden. I've noticed this for years that when I'm digging in the garden I know I've dug up a red ant 'farm' before I see them by the smell. Anyone else notice this?

Side note question, do all chickens wipe their beaks in the grass after eating worms? I figure I wouldn't want the slime on me either, just funny to watch them do it, mine are 8+ weeks.
