Red Broiler Rooster ready to mate?

I saw something very strange and don't know what I should do about it. It was my 2 months old Red Broiler Rooster trying to mate with one of my hens. I mean isn't it a little early for him to be doing that and is he even able to fertilize eggs not that I want him to. But if he can then off to the pot you go.

Is the problem that he's mating or that you don't want fertle eggs?

I wouldn't imagine that he could fertilize the eggs at that age.
