Our TSC has brand new red chicks in that they're calling New Hanpshire reds, but they're also saying they're all pullets, meaning they're sex-links, right? But New Hanpshire Reds can't be sexed when they hatch right? So they aren't considered sex link birds. So what are these chicks?

But if TSC buys some breeds of chicks that have been vent sexed, why are the other breeds they carry straight run? My impression was that the only pullets they carry were sex links. Guess I was wrong though ;-)

TSC sell the straight run because its cheaper to buy from the hatchery.

Pullets means they are young hens less then a year old
