I think acidified copper sulfate worked on the problem. Took it awhile to work. I gave 1/4 tsp per gallon for 2 weeks straight.

Wondering if this ever resolved for you? I have two pullets (4 months old) that have been having these red blobs in their poop. I treated with two rounds of Corid, with TriSulfa, and we finished the first round of worming with safeguard (next dose happens next week). The blobs will go away and then come back and I never quite know what the trigger is. They have never acted sick and continue to eat and dust bathe and forage energetically. But I continue to see these weird blobs.I think acidified copper sulfate worked on the problem. Took it awhile to work. I gave 1/4 tsp per gallon for 2 weeks straight.
@Hbixler If you are speaking to the blobs shown in the first post of this old thread, they are completely normal intestinal shedding. Not unusual to see them on occasion and no treatment is needed.I have two pullets (4 months old) that have been having these red blobs in their poop.
